Sessions are booking for the fall, especially weekends.  If you have a date in mind don’t wait…it might be gone.  ;)

When the mama of these girls called to schedule her session she warned me that her little one was always on the go.  She was right!  This baby girl walked all over exploring and following her sisters.  She was so happy and content.  Each time I would take her picture she would make a “click, click” sound, just like the camera.

I had a lovely session last week with 3 sisters at Elmwood Park.  As I got started working on their session this morning I could just not resist sharing a couple of the pictures. A darling girl with freckles sprinkled across her nose and cheeks just perfectly.  More to come from this session in the next day or two…

I have had these pictures in my “to be blogged” file for a few weeks now.   The summer days got away from me and so I am finally just getting to share these pictures.  This is another one of the seniors I have had the opportunity to meet and photograph.  This young man has a true love for music.  You can hear it in his voice when he talks about it, you can see it in the way he plays his guitar.  He has big plans and even bigger dreams and is working hard to make them all come true.  It’s inspiring to meet someone like that…someone who knows what they want and goes after it with everything they’ve got.

We went down to the Old Market for our session.  As we got out of our cars to meet and get started I looked up and realized we were standing in front of Homer’s Records.  A window full of album covers seemed the perfect place to photograph a young man that loves music so much.   After finding such a great place to start I wasn’t sure we could top it…but we did.  The Old Market is always full of great treasures to photograph.
